    Crazy Bar Banger Rules

I remember that one from way back. Haven't heard it in a long time, though!

    Crazy Bar Banger Rules

I was playing 8ball against a guy last night for drinks. He was pretty bad and I was ahead 7 or 8 to nothing at this point. He gets down to shoot and accidentally tapped the CB while going through his practice strokes. I got up to go shoot and he says that since the CB didn't go at least 3...

    Waste of money pool items

Certainly! That pic is from a few weeks ago! It is fun to bounce it on the ground while waiting to shoot...

    Pre-shot routine

I stand looking at the shot with my belly button aligned right down the shot line while I decide on speed and tip position, plant my right foot, get down, take a couple of practice strokes, and go. Staying down and watching what happens is important.

    Whyte Carbon Shaft Opinions

I hit three a couple of months ago. It felt great, sounded good, and didn't seem to have much, if any, deflection compared to my Revo. Very smooth feeling. And the interchangeable joints are a great option.

I played on Predator cloth. I liked it.

I didn't even notice! That table that you and I played on was terrible, though. I'm glad they left it out of the tourney rotation. It was old and worn and the rails were pretty dead. When I went to lag on my first table in the tournament, I blasted it because I was used to the speed of the...

What shots objectively benefit from a closed bridge?

I interchange so much that I don't even think about it. I am probably 60/40 open/closed. It's just whatever seems like the right one for the job (in my head, at least).

    Player’s room in Sarasota Florida

I made it down there and met with Nick. Absolutely great dude. We had some fun with him kicking my butt in a game of 9ball. I gave him my cues to use.... and he used a house stick! Mainly just because I decided to play on the tourney as well. I went out pretty early. He's a hell of a shot...

Another big $1,000 entry 600 and under tournament...

Have fun, man. Maybe I can join you for the next one. Sadly, I don't have a FR so I am ineligible for all of these. I'm estimating that I'm slightly over 600 anyway, though.

    Player’s room in Sarasota Florida

I'll be about an hour north of there at 5:30 or so. I can bring my stuff down with me. How long are you in town for? I'll be back down that way on Sunday as well.

Another big $1,000 entry 600 and under tournament...

I wish I could make it out as it's only about 90 minutes away. Sadly, I have to drive down to St Pete today. Are you playing?

Looks like they don't clean their tables often enough. I'll pass.

Loking for an OB shaft, used in good condition is fine.

It is a UniLoc joint...so probably not what you are looking for, but it is in nearly new condition with no warps or dings.

    Dark vs Light

I like the darker, simply because of the contrast making it pop. Very nice looking cues!

New member: Any Thoughts on McDermott COTY?

Definitely too much going on for my liking. I prefer a much simpler look on my cues. That said, it is some fantastic work.

How would you play this 9ball shot?

This is what I advocated for. My friend went with the running left to go around the table. To be fair, he came up a bit high for the cut on the 7, but did end up getting out.

    Thank you for saying that.
