A Pool Room with Home Style Tables

You do know that Diamond has a lease program for tables. http://www.diamondbilliards.com/About/NoExcuseProgram.aspx If I ever opened up a place, I would be looking into that carefully.

A Pool Room with Home Style Tables

Edgars in Baltimore's Inner Harbor had 9 foot Olhausen furniture style tables. Place has been closed up for years, and the tables always needed work. Those types of tables to hold up well in a commercial environment. They were there only for the look and feel of the room.

    Congratulations to Cookie Man.....

Shave off 20 years, and I suspect you would be just fine and dandy on a Sunday morning. Long tourneys are brutal for old guys.

    Congratulations to Cookie Man.....

I don't think this was the first time he was in the top 10 either. Not bad for an old part-timer.

    Tim Monk🌶🌶🌶

Nice. I really like how he did the joint, to allow an aftermarket shaft to look like it belongs on the cue. Does he have a website, for those of us who have not heard of him before?

APA e-mails are up, is the APA in trouble?

Your math is fugged again. Remember table rental, room rental, oh and good old taxes. Paying for single qualifiers, doubles, masters, womens, captain tourny for vegas too. I make more money working, then this LO grosses. The difference is the LO can grow their business develop new markets in...

APA e-mails are up, is the APA in trouble?

So when all is said and done, you may need a real job to afford to run an APA league on the side.

APA e-mails are up, is the APA in trouble?

The league cited claims to have over 100 teams, IMO that would be just over 100, not 150. So that is a small league as well. If you don't have a room to house a large tourney you need to find a place (pay) and rent tables. Most bars have 1-2 tables you going to run a 16 team tourney on 2...

APA e-mails are up, is the APA in trouble?

So 138,240 is gross, you still have to pay for the teams trips to vegas. Guessing about 5k per team. Expenses in regards to collecting and imputing scores each week. Hall rental for tourneys, maybe even renting tables for your bigger tourneys, at 3X per year. You might even be paying off a...
