Besides APA, which other sanctioning bodies offer franchising?

TAP league is a franchise system also. Looked into that back in 2011 prior to retirement.

    Inconsistent Break

Reduce the speed of your break, focus on hitting the head ball solid and square. As you become more proficient at hitting the headball square, and getting the cueball to stay in the center of the table, begin to add speed. Besides observing the CB after the break as Bob posted, you can also...

    Beta blockers, anyone?

Been banned for a while in different sports. Shooting, archery, etc. Wish I didn't have to take them, but I have little choice because of the condition of my heart.

    Tips pros use... Surprise !

    DC, Maryland, Room suggestions

The only places in Maryland that have 9 foot tables (that I am aware of) is Top Hat in Parkville MD, and Triple 9's in Elkton MD. I moved from MD 5 years ago, so I am not current on the pool scene there or DC. Even when I lived there, NoVA was my go to.

Quick shout out to Proficient Billiards

I have used Scott on several occasions. One cue needed the handle area turned down some and refinished, the other cue I needed a refinish and the shafts sprayed. He did both jobs in the allotted time, and price quoted. He does great work, at a reasonable price.

Yeah and he played in a smaller ball park too. I heard all the excuses by the haters then. Guess it doesn't change.
