    Open vs Close Bridge

    I'm a closed bridge person unless my arthritis is acting up then I'll still try to close my bridge and only as a last resort will use a open bridge .

    I've not stabbed or steaked a bluefin tuna but I've taken care of my fair share of deer , antelope , elk , buffalo and beef with a old wood handled Victorinox Forschner lamb skinning knife and a F. Dick smooth sharpening steel . Simple and yet very functional equipment .

    Or go buy some needed supplies and retip you're own cues , then they're done to you're satisfaction with out the travel time or wait . Just a thought . This is basically why I started replacing my own tips on my cues , besides that it relaxes me ha ha

    I like the 3/8 modified as well as the uni loc , especially when my arthritis is acting up the quicker I can get my cue together the better ha ha . As for which is the best ? That's a Ford Chevy or Dodge type of question it's the one you have the most confidence in playing with is the best .

    In the past when I was much younger I played with Le Pro tips on my cues , I still have one on my break cue that I use now but a Techno dud on one cue and G2 medium tips on both shafts for my main playing cue and I'm happy with the english I can transfer to the object ball with them .
