While goose hunting along the banks of the Big Horn River I sat out a few full body Canadian goose full body decoys while my hunting friend Ed and I hid back in the brush while trying to call in either ducks or geese as either of them were about to land among the decoys a bald or golden eagle would suddenly appear and dive bomb them making them flair .

Making collecting a limit of birds was difficult at best , we did manage about half , yes the eagles are thick along the banks of the river during waterfowl season as they clean up on crippled or dead birds that hunters or their dogs didn't retrieve .

So I really enjoy seeing a goose giving a eagle what for ! Ha ha !

That looks just like the fabled Lake Martin in Louisiana. There was a sign I had a picture of, "Walkers and Hikers, beware aggressive breeding alligators". I didn't know if the signs were warning about getting eaten or raped!

The angled bank like that gave me one of my greatest alligator pictures. The gator was on the bank facing me and I was about five feet away secure in my F-150 pick-up. Because of the angle it looked like I was down on flat ground taking the picture nose to nose! One of those optical delusions.(grin)

A friend drove eight hours each way every week to run his sprint car. Put a new engine in it and decided it was a good idea to cut a lap of the roads around his shop to make sure it would run and break the engine in a little bit before loading up to go to Nashville. The state trooper wasn't real amused when he caught Spencer running eighty miles an hour in a winged dirt track sprint car about five miles from his shop.

After the trooper got through with an ass chewing he did push him off and give him an escort to his shop, not a bad guy after all!
