    Predator cues with radial pin

Always looking for any predator cues with radial pins. Factory radial pins. Will consider converted pins on case by base basis. Can be regular series or limited stuff like Pantheras. Again, radial pins only for now. PM me with what you have, condition, and asking price. Thanks

Hours, weeks, months, years, and I’m still lousy

For example, in the rifle shooting world when people ask how to become better competition shooters, the absolute worst advice is “get out there and shoot matches.” That’s how you just get beat up on someone else’s terms. The proper way is first learning proper fundamentals, the position...

Hours, weeks, months, years, and I’m still lousy

I see there’s still a lot of outdated “your problem is you don’t play good players” talk around here. This isn’t 1995 where you need to be at the pool room to see what good play looks like. Or where you need to find someone willing to share knowledge. You can see all the best play in the world...

Here’s a picture for EVERY pool player complaining about ANY playing condition

While you’re at it, turn off the AC in your house cause some places don’t have AC. Throw your phone away because some people don’t have them…. 🙄🙄🙄 We all have luxuries others don’t have. And it’s not a bad thing.

Is Schmidt's and charlie 626 Legit

Again, *you* me, or anyone don’t get to “assume” anything. The BCA does. You don’t get to decide what is or isn’t valid. Unless you want to start your own organization and make your own records. You can whine all you want and be as salty as you want. Shaw is the BCA record holder for now.

    9-Ball Rules Question

I did find where it said “equipment is to be used as it was designed for.” I’d imagine that would be interpreted that the cue ball was not designed to measure.

    9-Ball Rules Question

Which section in WPA discusses measuring. I can’t find it and I’m likely missing it. Trying to familiarize myself with all the different .org rules again.

    9-Ball Rules Question

I’ll have to go back and crawl through WPA. BCA has a separate section labeled “devices” which states you can’t use the cue ball to measure. I haven’t been able to find that or a similar section in WPA. I guess it would technically depend which rules you’re playing by. But generally speaking...

Is Schmidt's and charlie 626 Legit

Unless there is a written rule set that covers any of this, your argument is invalid. As no one can just pick and choose which rules they want. Like saying “if he was in a match, then he would have sat down.” Well this isn’t a match. Also, unless there is a rule stating they can only...

Matchroom changing break rules for European Open (Aug 9-14 Germany)

Also, with the radar gun, maybe it doesn’t turn off viewers. It might be cool every brake for the speed to populate like a baseball game. Even if you’re not using the speed for rule enforcement, I think it might be kinda cool for a viewer to see how fast it’s going.

Matchroom changing break rules for European Open (Aug 9-14 Germany)

I could be wrong, but it might be cool if they use a few different rules like this at different times/matches. As far as the “forceful”, I wouldn’t mind radar. It’s fairly cheap now. And it takes away the subjective nature of official’s discretion. Just don’t have official standing where the...

Would You Still Gamble With This Guy?

Tomato Tomato. If you run a business, you charge as much as the market allows. You don’t price it so high that you have product on the shelf, and you don’t price it low enough that you’re sold out on backorders for two years or more. You price it so you sell things as or very shortly after it’s...

How important is the cue for beginner-novice level?

My fairly uniformed opinion would to be to spend the cash on one of the higher end carbon shafts. Mezz ignite, Predator Revo, wtc. Unless your current cue has a weird pin, you can get one to dirt your butt. This will alleviate having to re-learn aiming and such if you use a wood or higher...

Would You Still Gamble With This Guy?

And you want people to win at times or be lifetime winners. Unless a complete degenerate, people feel there is a chance when they hear or see winners. Similar situation for the OP. Unless the dude is just giving away money (doesn’t sound like it), he needs to win sometimes.

Would You Still Gamble With This Guy?

Actually, there are lifetime winners. The odds just aren’t in their favor. Math is math. Most will lose. But some will always be lifetime winners against the house. Also, poker isn’t against the house. If you’re good enough to heat the rake, your +EV.

Would You Still Gamble With This Guy?

Old thread, but oh well. It’s peanuts. $50 But, there’s two options here: -if he doesn’t mind losing a little more than he wins in the long run, and he’s willing to change the spot so that isn’t something he can do, then congratulate him in the text thread and keep going. Do *not* “tap the...

Is there a demand for trained pool referees?

Baseball, football, basketball, tennis…..etc etc. UFC refs can make up to $15k on a pay per view. Obviously pool doesn’t have that kind of money. But ya, refs and umpires make very good money if they are in the top league in a game or sport.

I don’t disagree. That’s not the majority of viewers though.

    good 9-ball break, bad luck

‘Twas just an example. Nothing can really be done. Well struck shots regardless of break or not, have a chance to get a bad roll. One pocket already exists and typically has less luck. But, as one can see, it’s not built for the ADD fans most are and want to see something with a bit more...
