While you’re at it, turn off the AC in your house cause some places don’t have AC.

Throw your phone away because some people don’t have them….

🙄🙄🙄

We all have luxuries others don’t have. And it’s not a bad thing.

If pool halls required players to change to slippers it will decrease maintenance work of the billiard room.

Combat sport academies do not allow outdoor shoe wear inside. American pool can learn from Asian culture.

Instead of a billiard shoe how about a billiard slip.

Looks pretty upscale for the Phillipines which I assume is the location. Carpeted floor, nice cloth, looks to be indoors. Star brand tables are ubiquitous there and seem to play ok. Of course it's only a picture and we can't hear roosters clucking and crowing, idling mopeds and people screaming out bets between shots. Nor can we smell the air, feel the suffocating heat and humidity or see the ever present bugs..

The GOAT Efren playing in terrible conditions swatting flies in the Philippine heat-that’s what your seeing.
greatness rises well above conditions
that’s what I’m saying
if you don’t understan, your probably young and it’s probably for you
and yes, mopeds chickens and watchers just through the screen windows with the street behind them

always. the weirdest angle.

I’ve played in Mexico on bad equipment. After a few weeks of that, coming back to nice equipment and a/c things sure seem easier. Bad conditions is the breeding ground for champions-the proof is clear.

Gambol! Chickens and humidity!! Who cares!

I Respect those guys! They just get down, no bullshit💪💪

Does anyone wear gloves in the Philippines?? I cant say that I ever remember seeing someone wear gloves on one of the Philippine gambling videos.

de luna does always i think. dennis does sometimes, as does alcano, raga and a few more. maybe depends on the location / humidity?

I've seen some wear gloves in tournament play but not when matching up in the Philippines but I'm sure I have not seen every video yet either. I have not finished the interweb yet but I'm still working on it. :D:D

Stop whining about having seatbelts and a place to sit on a bus

That is what they deal with, that is not what we normally deal with. For more developed countries what we expect to see as "normal" is different. If you go to a nice restaurant in NY you don't expect to have a bunch of people around you begging for money or yelling trying to sell some chickens but in a street vendor market in the Philippines you do. Should we also put our roads and buildings to the same low standards? Maybe have the local electrical grid fail every few days because it's normal in other places?

Sounds like you are describing California.
