    reversing english

So tell us how it’s done then, since I clearly underestimated your knowledge and no one here knows what you’re asking........ While you’re at it, please educate me on how you “reverse” something in a stationary object ball. I’d really like to learn this.

    What I’d like to see

Stand and the end rail at the center diamond like you’re breaking or racking. Take the diamond to your right(there’s only 3 on the rail, so easy to make sure it’s the right one). Now imagine a line from that diamond to the side pocket on the right side of the table. Any object ball between...

    What I’d like to see

Not a bad idea. Most books and such have a few of these hidden in there. Such as a right triangle area from the left and right diamonds on the bottom rail to the side pocket. If a ball is in that triangle, it will not go in the same side’s side pocket. A collection of things like this would be...

    reversing english

Only thing I can imagine is he is seeing a force follow shot or a big draw shot where the cue ball is still sliding and the spin hasn’t taken yet. It gives the illusion of reversing as it’s going in one direction before the spin changes the trajectory.

I wasn’t even going to get into the fact most of the time there isn’t enough friction between the object ball and the cue ball for spin to be imparted. He seemed confused enough already

Klenti Kaci: A Legend in the Making

I felt this way about archer. I couldn’t stand watching him pick lint off the table for two hours. I’m not one to start harping on hot clocks and such, as they are shooting for their livelihood and many people love watching archer play. I just find other players to watch.

The reason opposite spin is imparted on the object ball is the cue ball is spinning and it works like a gear. It’s nit “reversing” at all. The cue is imparting spin onto an object ball. There was no spin to “reverse” to begin with on the object ball as it was not in motion. If I understand what...

Klenti Kaci: A Legend in the Making

In the age of easy information, this isn’t hard to do anymore. There are hundreds of books and tons of YouTube videos. Everything you would pay an instructor to teach you is readily available. Not to mention he has a natural talent for pool. Most every profession(not just sports and games) is...

World Pool Series Grand Final (8Ball) 31 Oct-3Nov

Sure, that’s probably good money for an 18 year old Albanian. It’s not good for a 30 year old American. An 18-22 year old NFL rookie gets minimum 450k, nba is 562k, and mlb is over 500k. You make this if you are the absolute bottom of the professional level. Best pool player in the world gets...

Is there a downloadable or streaming version of CTE Pro One that can be purchased for those of us who don’t really use(or own) dvds nowadays?

Question about shot clock at US Open 9ball and World Pool Series

I’ll jump on the must have a shot clock train when professional pool players can earn a decent living without having to win 10 or more tournaments a year. As it is right now, let them take all the time in the world to make sure they don’t miss, as most of them aren’t exactly living very well...

Dealing with pool players can be ridiculous: your opinion on my pool table sale

I’d refund the money he’s already paid you, possibly minus 10% for storage of the table while financed. I’d then stop associating with that individual, as it’s clearly a one sided friendship

    Could You Train Yourself?

This particular person? Unless they had a change of heart on their interest, no. But someone who genuinely wanted to learn and loved playing, yes. Though that type of person would seek out alternative ways to get better. So its slightly a moot point.

Dealing with pool players can be ridiculous: your opinion on my pool table sale

I’d lean more towards he doesn’t respect him enough to feel like he has anything to lose by telling him, so I don’t think he’s actually being honorable by telling him.

Dealing with pool players can be ridiculous: your opinion on my pool table sale

I’d probably tell him you don’t finance his investments for free. I’m not sure which part is more disrespectful, the fact that he is basically letting you finance his profit making venture, or the fact that he feels like he can just tell you Ike it’s not a problem.

Should pros be allowed to rob amateur events?

That wouldn’t work either. There’s not enough money to spread around. You’d see good players stop showing up for tournaments that weren’t right around the corner as the carrot isn’t big enough. There is nothing that can really be done to help pool until either people evolve back to watching...

Should pros be allowed to rob amateur events?

Yep.....most of the time anytime someone complains about someone “robbing,” it’s because it’s hindering their theft.....

    Updated FargoRates are out

Makes sense, as 50/50 matches wouldn’t be considered a predicted win. I’d imagine anything within the margin of error that puts it inside the 50/50 area would also be omitted.
