CALLING ALL CUE DETECTIVES… ID NEEDED!!!

Older Josswest Design (I believe) on, what I concur is probably an import cue. It's just that I've never seen an import cue with that design. I'm curious to see what others think.

    New Meucci Quality

I don't mind it. It has kind of always been their "thing".

JOSS CUE - Replica of Mike Sigel's cue

I just wanted to share with my AZ pals that Stephen Janes is building me a copy of Mike Sigel's old JOSS cue from the 80s. The first photo (with all of the shafts) was the very cue that Sigel used for years and played some amazing pool with. This photo was from John Wright I believe. I have had...

    New Meucci Quality

Maybe a month ago I bought a basic, entry level, Meucci to try out. It's just all red, and has a "pro" shaft with a layered tip. I have to give credit where credit is due. The overall quality of this cue is superb. Excellent fit, finish - and the shaft plays fantastic. It has a great feel and is...

    Nick Varner

Prime Time Nick Varner didn't wedge every single game. That is a bit of a myth. People speak as if he couldn't run 8 and out as easy as anyone. Nick rarely saw an offensive shot he didn't like. Killers at that level were first and foremost the best shotmakers in the world. And aggressive...

    Mark Tad?

I would agree that Mark Tadd's elite status shined during a very brief window of time but it did shine bright. Look up the LA OPEN I believe it was. Mark beat the best in the world in multiple disciplines. I just don't think his heart was in tournament play. I would ask that you search the forum...

    Mark Tad?

The best player you've ever seen..?You mean live..?He was a good player but nowhere near the speed of pools elite. There was a period of time that he definitely played at an elite speed in most disciplines.

    Question about Jose Parica

Yes - and I heard Buddy Hall say as much about Sigel, strongly complimenting and admiring Sigel's ability. Buddy was a man with a huge ego (well earned, I might add) and belief in himself. He didn't hand out compliments. Varner was often quick to compliment Sigel as well. Whether you like Mike's...

    Mark Tad?

My neighbor, who was friends with Mark, said Mark was a great poker player. He said while on the road Mark would sniff out a poker game...and usually come back to the room flush after busting it. He said he was always amazed at that. The guy was a killer.

    Mark Tad?

I have a neighbor (I live near St Louis) who was a champion level foosball player in the 80s/90s. (I didn't even know that was a thing, but apparently it was) and my neighbor was a state champion, and had come close to winning some kind of world championship. Anyway, he had no idea I played...

    ...............................................................

My immediate thought upon seeing this cue when the match aired was that it was an Evan Clarke era Schon box cue. Very rare. Champagne Ed Kelly had a Clarke-era 90s Schon box cue as well (well after the beautiful Gina he played with).
