Quite the opposite out in my area. Handicaps are keeping the tournaments booming! The open events sometimes don't get enough people to even play. There are tournaments from 450 and under, 500 and under, 525 and under, scotch 1100 and under, and even a 643 and under! Handicapped tournaments...

If there is an entry fee, the tournament would die out here really fast.

Exactly right. I was told the Lucasi West Coast tour won't even be coming to the Phoenix area because they won't get enough participation. It's crazy to me that there are maybe 20-30 weekly tournaments in the area that have plenty of players, but the minute they have to play guys like Oscar...

I'm about to start prepping for a big table 10-ball tourney. It's been all bar table for me for the past couple months. I'll try to race the ghost to 7 a couple times per day. Not super confident at the moment, but perhaps I'll share the results.

But this is 10-ball without Matchroom telling them how to rack and break. I would guess we see at least a 7.
