I kind of agree. I think it's something most players use without thinking about it. We're just putting a name to it. Do any of today's champions even consider this type of stuff when they get down on the ball? I'll bet it never enters their heads.

Those "chip tournaments" are very popular in my area. The top players (like maybe 3 total players) get 3 chips, the weakest get 8 chips. Incoming player breaks. Bar table 9-ball. You know how hard it is to give up the break and KEEP WINNING until everyone runs out of chips? When Joven...

That's not necessarily the case. They'll more likely to drop off because 5 player tournaments aren't fun. Or the TD stops running them.

I'd play a 6-1 race against a 300-400 fargo. They'd hate it because I'd play tighter than a dolphin's butthole.

Don't forget they also like to cap those same events. Did I mention that we have a local "643 and under" event? How awesome is that?!?!
