I didn't think of this! I guess the effort put into not hitting the table first is comparable to judging where the miscue limit is. I'd like to try it out sometime if I can get a hold of 15mm shaft lol

This might actually be a not-too-bad idea. Using a 15mm, or whatever size tip that allows you to hit 90% max offset. Then you don't risk miscuing and can focus more on getting the right speed.

on the other hand, though, we can't hit miscue limit when playing draw and therefore no max (or close to max) draw is possible. This might be one downside of having outrageously big tip.

if you are used to big diameter shaft and you just started to play with 10mm shaft, sure there will be a huge difference because you are not adapted to the new shaft. You need to aim at different spot (visually)and hit the ball with different speeds to get the same action. Because the shafts...
