Every Played a Drug Dealer for Money?

The Pharmacist on our League is one of the best players in the greater Sacramento area. He has played in every BCA Nationals in Las Vegas since the very first one. I believe he received an award for it a couple years ago.

Who played 9ball... before Texas Express rules was the norm?

I began playing 9-Ball in the 1960's while I was at the top of my 14.1 game. We called all shots, CB in the kitchen on scratches. The more popular game around San Jose, CA. was 6-Ball (short-rack 9). Same rules, but the pace was faster. You could either win fast or lose faster. The late 60's...

    Expensive shooting cues

I alternate from High-end to midrange depending where I'm going to play. For league, I play with a Jerry -R- "Boti" variant that plays as good as any cue I own. During casual play at Hard Times or The Jointed Cue, I usually play with the High-end Vintage Cues I've collected over the past 40+...

If you could have a plain jane player from any maker...?

I'll second that choice. My first Custom was a New Harvey Martin with two shafts. I played with that Cue daily until July of 1968, when it was stolen from my buddy's '65 GTO along with his new 8 track tape player.

What cuemaker does the best shaft sealing and finishing?

Tom Coker always did superb shaft cleaning/sealing, but my local cue repair/tip guy (saint1) is now doing all of my repairs, etc. on my cues and shafts. Impeccable work.

Very attractive Cue you have there. One of the few SW's which appeal to me. Nicest offering I've seen in a long time.

Johnny, The most effective remedy I've found for Arthritis can be found at Trader Joe's. Look for Tart Cherry Juice (natural unsweetened). Just a few ounces a day will free up those fingers.
