Geno, I'm borderline dibetic, but, unfortunately, the xrays say I'v got arthritis in my lower back and leg.

Good suggestions, Lisa. I've been taking Lorcet 10's , but more than one does make me loopy.

I have a prescription for pain. I take it about a half hour before I play. But if i take more than one, it messes up my game. You are right, though. Two hours ain't bad. aw, but the old days! :o

No hand problem yet, thank God! My problem is endurance. When my back starts hurting, I get real tired and can't get down on the shot. i think my gambling days are over.

I do that so I don't leave a bank if I miss.

I was a pretty good player at one time but old arthritis is getting me down. I still start out strong but then the back starts hurting after about 2 hours and then i'm not getting down on my shot. I was reading that JA-Appleton thread where Appleton said he didn't like those long races. Heck...

Thanks for the kind invites. Im havin fun already. Been staying with my nephew in louisville the past 4 years. Currently staying with my daughter. I been thinking about heading to daytona for a while. my act gets old after awhile.

David, there must be 2 of us. I stayed with a lady friend in Biloxie in '91 for about a year but never spent any time to speak of in Greenville. Sure does sound like me though. Was i drunk?
