I'm still deciding. Seems like an awfully small list for late December. And, to be honest, I only am familiar with a couple of names on the list. I hate to miss 2 years in a row.

I was talking to a guy who said his grandfather Glen Phillips was a well known road hustler several years ago. Said he went by a nickname. Only certain associates knew his real name. Wouldn't play in tournaments. From West Virginia but left his wife and 5 kids and went on the road. Great pool...

I have a nice Bender. I am starting to appreciate stiff hitting cues. I really like my Josey. But Mike Bender's cues are just way too stiff for me. At least mine is.

Yep, grip seems loose.

I'm feeling better. I'm making nice cuts. Banking great. Running some balls. My confidence is high for everything but long straight ins. I miss as many as I make. Anybody have any thoughts? I don't think my mechanics are bad. I'm almost 61. Is it an age thing?

My friends and I keep it at $2 max, but most of my pool playing buddies are dead so I never lose much.

What I do: Position CB on far right directly behind headstring. Make sure two balls are frozen. Hit far left side of front ball with high left. Soft stoke. Second ball will go to rail and re-position itself behind front ball which should barely move. CB will end up on bottom rail behind the two...
