    I visited Dennis Searing

He's making a list. He's checking it twice. Gonna find out who's naughty and nice.

    I visited Dennis Searing

Searing has a 12 year waiting list. The top cuemakers won't become obsolete.

Efren playing daily in the Philippines

I've heard him say he gets paid to play in those games because they know it will attract a crowd. Probably also a % of the backers money if he wins.

Any player still use Schon cues?

LOL - I probably have. http://www.palmercollector.com/Schon/SchonSLseries.html I've had several people comment on how nice the SL-5 is. Definitely a classic design.

Any player still use Schon cues?

I have a Schon SL-5 but I no longer use it because I need a wrapless cue due to a problem with my fingertips on my grip hand. I can't say I've played with a better cue.

    Funny pic/gif thread...

Her final words were an apology to the executioner for accidentally stepping on his foot. Probably the first, last and only person to apologize to their executioner.

CSI dumps Diamond for Predator tables

It will be interesting to see whether they can break into the table market. Tables tend to last longer than cues and cloth.

CSI dumps Diamond for Predator tables

I'm not inclined to read 14 pages to get the answer. I was unaware predator made tables. I'm guessing these will be 9' tables? Are they using Simonis or do they also make their own cloth?

Would You Still Gamble With This Guy?

This thread is a year and a half old. I wonder what the op decided to do. Bobby Hunt's interviews are must watch. In part 3 he said he never had any fights over pool because he always agreed with the opponent on "stuff" because he knew he was the better player and would get the cash. If...

    9-Ball Rules Question

My APA career lasted 3 matches and then my handicap was too high for me to be useful to the team. IMO allowing someone to mark the rail is BS.

How important is the cue for beginner-novice level?

I would say it depends on what the goal is of the beginner/novice. If he or she just wants to hit some balls for fun then get a cheap cue that rolls straight and put a good tip on it. If the intent is to spend the time to become a serious player then get a quality cue. When I retired I was...

    No powder on the table

Check out the end of that video. See all the young people around the table? If people wonder why there are so many great Filipino pool players that video tells it all. In America those kids would be at home playing a video game.

    No powder on the table

Apologies for bumping my own thread but parts 3 through 6 are now up and if you want to see Efren in stoke this is probably as good as you will see these days. It's unfortunate he had visa problems because if he played like this in that tournament he would have made some noise.

    Funny pic/gif thread...

My heritage is Scottish. I was watching a live stream of blackball with a player from Scotland and another from England. On commentator was Scottish. In the live chat I said I was having difficulty understand the Scottish commentator. He said "I'm talking as slow as I can".

How would you play this shot?

The cue ball left the surface of the table for a diamond or two. Just roll the ball in. He had enough of an angle to avoid the scratch.
