Another Great Invention for the Pool World

I am sitting here thinking about pool and my problems with the shaft getting dirty making it more unconfortable to stroke and shoot the ball. Then it hits me...blue algae. You take a dirty shaft and spread blue algae seeds on it. This algae is very dry and slick and does not grow very tall...

    Question about pre flag chalk

On average Blue Diamond chalk is aged for 7 years in a mud and platinum kiln in Scotland. Not sure about Kamui chalk though, I've been told it was developed by the Nazis in 1941 and when the supply is gone it will no longer be available.

    pool case cleaning

If you use preflag chalk, use a magnet. It contains mercury and lead. (jk) Otherwise, you can roll some tape with the sticky side out and attach it to a thin stick and dab it at the bottom of the case. Silly putty may work too.

    Bad night...

Why not? You still beat them. Your opponent needed to evaluate/adjust his game or not play if he was playing that poorly. Good players do this. Me, on the other hand, tries to play through it by hitting the balls harder and getting angrier.

    APA 9-ball Scoring Q's

Why in the hell are you counting balls in 9-ball???? Whoever makes the 9 ball wins. Personally, When I played the APA, I liked running out to the 9 and missing it to give my opponent the 9. I would have to laugh at the end when I won the match without making a single 9 ball.

    Simonis 860 Cloth Cleaning

Be careful using a wet cloth, I use clay balls and the skid marks turn to mud when they get wet. Try shooting though mud tracks. As an alternative I use my son's Fisher Price bulldozer to clean up the clay. Not only is it fancy, it's fun too!

    Can cues change over time

They do age over time like a cheese. As youngling, a shaft is very clean and rigid, but at the cellular level spores are growing into new life giving the cue a less rigid feel. The properties that change are based on the wood being used. Maple, the wood becomes less rigid, cocobolo, the cue...
