Help identify large set of pool balls . . . lawn pool?

Banks are a bit of an issue since the balls hop when they hit a rail. I made my first attempted cross-side and then decided to quit while I was ahead: 1 for 1.

    Closest snooker table to Boston?

When I called The Billiards Cafe tonight (Friday 30 March) I was told that the snooker table is ready. I probably won't be out there until next week. Call ahead to reserve the table.

Help identify large set of pool balls . . . lawn pool?

They're a little bit bigger even than Russian pyramid balls. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_pyramid Crap, now I need yet another cue. Maybe a 40-ounce custom. Thanks. If you ever dig those up, please let me know. I'll have my friend contact Crystal Leisure.

Help identify large set of pool balls . . . lawn pool?

A friend of mine recently purchased a set of unusually large pool balls from an antiques dealer. The only clue we have about the origin of these huge balls is a photo clipped from a newspaper. I didn't have calipers, but by my estimate the balls were 3 inches in diameter and possibly a bit...

    Cue table problem with Mac

Firefox will remain your best bet for media that doesn't display properly in Safari. I don't even bother to look at threads with CueTable posts in Safari any more; I just open the links in Firefox. The same goes for certain video formats.

Another fine piece of work, Roger. I've looked at the pieces in your gallery several times today (again): http://rhtcustomwood.com/photo_album.html Could you make a case for snooker balls? There would be 22 balls (15 red + 6 color + cue ball) sized 2-1/8" in diameter. I'd be interested in...

    Snooker (Billiards table set up)

Check out the rules and markings on this site: http://billiards-talk.info/rules/snooker.html You might as well place the balls in convenient locations. When I've played on a 9' table with a set of snooker balls I've just used the diamonds. 1. Place the (equivalent of) your green, brown, and...
