    Team Shirts

I point at LeagueShirts raising his hand. Contact LeagueShirts. He's made several FindSnooker.com shirts for me, and I'm quite happy with them. It's handy to have a fellow AzBer who can make the shirt you want.

Snooker Tables I have seen, known, loved, and sometimes loathed

Illini Union - my first snooker table My very first snooker table was the 10-footer at the Illini Union at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to my junior year I didn't take pool seriously: it was fun, but not serious+fun. A German-American classmate introduced me to...

Snooker Tables I have seen, known, loved, and sometimes loathed

Thanks! It seemed that AzB was a better place for this sort of thing than the website itself. Yeah, distance can be a problem. I'm lucky in that driving out to Ayer after work doesn't add too much to my normal commute time.

Snooker Tables I have seen, known, loved, and sometimes loathed

Chris's Billiards Chris's Billiards is a legendary pool hall. I first heard about Chris's when I was a student in the Midwest in the mid 90's. Chris's Billiards, Ray Schuler, and Joey Gold (Cognoscenti) often came up in conversation. In October 2010 I visited Chicago for business, and the...

Snooker Tables I have seen, known, loved, and sometimes loathed

Coat of Arms in Portsmouth, New Hampshire If I remember correctly, the 10' table at the Coat of Arms in New Hampshire was the first table I found in my search for snooker tables in the Boston area. (The long version of the search for a Boston area snooker table is documented in this post...

Snooker Tables I have seen, known, loved, and sometimes loathed

Of all the tables listed on FindSnooker.com, I've played on fewer than a dozen. Though I rarely travel for work any more, I do get around the country now and then, and on the sufferance of my wife I can sometimes spend an hour or two checking out the local snooker table(s). So here's my goal...

    Snooker in Hong Kong

General Snooker in Hong Kong (2008): After breaking as player A, Rethunk considers what to do as player B. That's a tempting leave on the red. Will that cherry go in the corner? That is, will it go in the corner for someone like me? A list of a few of the pool halls in Hong Kong...

Snooker Tables or Golf Tables Pictures and locations

I finally added the snooker tables for Gary's Victor Billiards in Victorville and The Oasis Bar & Grill in Chico. http://www.findsnooker.com/California.html Didn't Q-T's close? If not, how recently have you visited? E1 Entertainment in San Leandro has 8 tables.

    Real Snooker Experiance

The snooker tables in the DFW area are 10' American snooker tables, and they'll likely have 2-1/8" ball sets. American snooker balls are numbered; standard snooker balls are not. Most of the 12' tables in Texas are located near Houston: http://www.findsnooker.com/Texas.html You can start to...

would any be interested in helping me.

I'll make a strong second recommendation on that book. You should be able to borrow a copy from your university library, or at least borrow a copy via inter-library loan. You can also get a copy fairly cheaply from Amazon...

Price for table time that's hard to beat: FREE!

I just added Shooter's in Huntsville, Alabama to FindSnooker.com. Now only do they have a 12' table, but according to their Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/SHOOTERS-Billiards-Pub/205228503022?sk=wall Seems like a reasonable price to me. [EDIT] You have to pay to play snooker...

    Rests

Does anyone know if U.S. distributors have ever carried the Flexi-Rest? I looked around a bit but didn't find any. One of those rests would've saved me a foul or two. Or four.
