Richard Hsu does not "hollow out" his shafts. They are no inserts. I have had both v1 and v2 of his shafts and they hit well because they are all wood- -dj

This is the exact point. As far as chalk goes in terms of play, it really doesn't matter. But, as far as cleanliness goes, nothing beats the Taom V10 green. I can play for an hour without washing my hands once. Table and balls only need rare cleaning. Plus, my last V10 lasted 14 months...

Hi- Does a CF shaft require special treatment when replacing the tip? Can any normally skilled technician replace a tip on this shaft? Thanks- -dj

This is very important. I had to invest in a torque wrench but it is well worth it for the table to play correctly. I can't believe you got brand new Artemis cushions and they seemed "mushy". We have a bunch of older red labels at league and those cushions are still very lively. -dj

Well, I saw "trick shots" and never watched the video, so yours don't fit into my generalization. Those shots are pretty cool. Hopefully, I will never have to shoot any of them, LOL. Do you have another video which shows the shots closer and explains the technique to make them? -dj

Personally, trick shots never impressed me. If you set them up correctly, they work. Now, the modern stuff like Venom does, that goes beyond traditional trick shots into the realm of very skilled art, completely different in my opinion. -dj
