Snooker stance is traditionally defined as having both feet roughly parallel to the shot line, as opposed to the pool stance where we stand a bit sideways, the preference being toward the dominant hand.

I am by no means a professional instructor, but I think that whichever stance works best for you is the correct one. One thing though...Your stance is not supposed to hurt. I would recommend tweaking yours a little until you find the point where you're both comfortable and accurate.

An easier way to practice the break is to simply place the one ball on the spot and hit it as hard as you can...saves racking time, stress on your back, etc... All we're looking for is a solid hit on the one, right? :D (I'm not responsible for any broken windows.)

Shooting jacked up when whitey is close to the rail is probably my biggest weakness. I also have almost no chance to make combinations unless they're wired. Any free advice would be appreciated. :)
