Should I get this Pool Hall?

I think I'd rather have a small place, even in a poor location. Buy it cheap, build it even....but own it. I couldn't invest my life in someone elses building.

    EveryOne gets beat Here

To scare off a good player, the cues would have no tips. Havent seen that. The humidity would have to be really bad, like phillipines bad. You don't see those conditions often, so I'd say no, not too often. No matter how bad things get, you should still be able to hit hard and straight a little...

Should I go for this Predator Air Jump cue?

I have to agree, the air jumper kind of sucks. I keep mine, but almost never use it.

    Ball spot vs Wire spot

This one of the most interesting things about pool. Even a total scrub can match up with a pro. Its not always about how good you play, its how good you are at making a game. It all depends on the players style and how they shoot, but there are guidelines. Even some guys who aren't that good...

    Million Dollar Idea for Pool???

Who was it that decided poker should be on TV? Someone, or some group made that happen. Same with bowling, reality shows, and super hot news anchor woman. Whoever is responsible for making these obscure ideas a reality: HEEEEEELP!

    Is there a EUREKA moment?

Its a long, long way to the top. Many of us set standards so high, the top seems unreachable. I can remember watching run out players and being very intimidated, feeling like I had little or no skill as compared to them. Playing at that level or anywhere near it, seemed impossible at the time...

Who is the best player in Brooklyn area???And who in Queens ???

I agree, and you can throw Parica in there too. He's had some recent NY appearances, but maybe not enough to be included. If they live in the area though, I would include them too. I'd rate Kiamco and Earl as favorites, then Parica. The rest is pretty close, tough to say.

Who is the best player in Brooklyn area???And who in Queens ???

Thats true Jude, I doubt anyone would argue that. For instance, Danny Barouty played out of Queens for many, many years. Not sure where he lives now. Even though he plays in the city these days, Danny will always be a Queens, straight pool monster to me. (And one helluva nice guy, too!) And...

    Developing Stamina, any tips?

I wouldn't call 4 or 5 sets an endurance match. Sounds like you broke down for other reasons. Lack of food doesn't give you the shakes. Neither does mentally relaxing. You can try fruit, nuts, or power bars....but I would also consider mental aspects of the game.

Who is the best player in Brooklyn area???And who in Queens ???

I cant say they all live in Queens, but I will name a few who at least play there. 1. Earl 2. Robles 3. Frankie hernandez 4. Jeremy Sossei 5. Oscar Bonilla 6. Mhet Vergara 7. George Rodriguez 8. Sean Morgan Here and there, but not regularly: Zion Zvi, Warren Kiamco, Joey K. I haven't lost to...

    Eye pattern

You wouldn't throw a dart, or shoot a gun without looking at your target. Pool can be similar. Try a slight pause on your backswing. During the pause, get a good last look at your object ball. Then trust your stroke, and shoot while your eyes are still locked on the ball. Pay attention to where...

Think my stroke angles in a bit... can it be fixed without going back to square 1?

Bambu: I got the third eye for my gf once a long time ago, it seemed like an awesome training aid. It could be I see center ball wrong. I don't think I spin the ball accidentally, I just swing my stick in sort of an angle relative to my body. Or it moves in a sort of curve instead of a straight...
