weight in one pocket, what to do?

In the 70s I witnessed the largest spot in one pocket I ever saw. George "Whitey" Michael's spotted someone 8 to close. Whitey drew an arc from one point to the other in his opponent's pocket. All he had to do his pocket one ball or have or have one stop inside the arc. The poor fellow never...

    My first wrap.

Most wraps that come loose do so while screwing or unscrewing the cue. If the forearm is gripped instead of the wrap while tightening or loosening the wrap should never come loose.

may i have help im IDing these pool cues

The Adam's is listed in the Bluebook of Cues.I gave one away recently. The downside is the Raminwood shaft with a screw on ferrule. The blue cue is not bad. One cue looks like Titlist points.

Memories of the late 80's Seattle scene/211 Club (Long)

Love it Greg! Had known Vince and Lila since 1971. We recently lost them both. Did not know the history behind them. Vince changed my life. He loaned me the money to buy my first metal lathe in 1983. Still using it. RIP Vince and Lila. You are both greatly missed. Your friend, Roger

    Purple Cocobolo

Cocobolo is very oily. Apply acetone to paper towels and rotate on your lathe. The acetone will draw out the oils. This will help a finish stick to the cue. The cue will not darken as much without the oils present.

Try a 3/8×10 joint screw in it. That works on some bumpers.
