Sad but pool will never be big on tv. When professionals play at their high level pool is boring to only a very few. Every shot looks easy because they know how to put the cue ball on a dime. I would love it to happen. It almost did in the 90's but, as pool always seems to do, the players ended...

Curious, how you would "know" that this was built in the 30's and not know the cuemaker? Also, the shaft is "tiger wood"? Seems like a fairly in-the-know term for "just a female". Looks like a newer shaft and not a well aged 85 year old shaft.

The slates are standing in the dolly tightly secured. I don't have a heating gun but if that is the way to go I can rent one from a tool rentals. Do you heat the side of the slate and pry? They are only stuck on the sides where the glue secured the table cloth. Bob
