Scott Lee and Randy G may be coming to your area. Give either of them a message on here and they will get back to you. Fran teaches in NYC, I'm not sure if she gets to Philly. Allen Hopkins I believe is still near Valley Forge. here's a link to PBIA instructors in PA...

    American 14.1 Championship Stream?

I love it when I can see excellence rather than mediocrity. Straight pool is great the way it is. Maybe extend the race in the finals to 300 or 500. They each should have some opportunities in a long match to that many points. If someone runs 300 or 500 and out good for them.

I have quite a few shirts from "Play the Game" http://playthegameclothing.com/ Frank has been great in getting me shirts in my size 6XL and they are plenty long. I'm 6'3" with a long torso. There's a great color selection as well at reasonable prices.

Is this a foul? Not intended use of equipment?

Given what you have said above, just which rules should be enforced and which rules should be ignored? We may be able to get the rule book down to just a couple of pages if people can agree on what rules are necessary to enforce. If we don't enforce the rules then we don't need those rules.

14.1 not fair both players should be given a chance to run balls

There's no need to change one of the greatest pool/billiards games ever invented. We should be excited to see excellence in any game. Sadly too many want to drive excellence (in this case high runs) from any game just so everyone can have a better chance at winning. I often wonder if this is...

A Cue for This and a Cue for That...

I think we need more people like this guy. He clearly enjoys the game and doesn't mind spending money on equipment. There are many reasons he may not play up to your standard. His multiple cues may not be the main reason. Leave the guy alone. He may be having fun with his cues and we could...

Best Jump Cue for Dart Stroke on Bar Boxes

Many of the jump cues on the market are very good. Proper Technique is much more important than what brand of jump cue you use. You have some good suggestions already. Lomax, Jacoby, Stealth are all good.
