Gail G (Mrs. T Robles) voice

On the radio there is a cute Forrest Service PSA, where the two characters are fireflies. I know it's not her, but the girl firefly sounds like Gail when she's commentating on the stream: http://www.discovertheforest.org/wma/FCN_Light_Show_Eng_60.mp3 PS, I think Gail's voice is cute.

    Charley "Hillbilly" Bryant

Thank you, so much. If you watch the old Charlie Chan movies, that's what he would say after questioning an uncooperative suspect.

Most of your misses due to poor aim or poor stroke?

    Shoot pool, Fast eddie.

Most of your misses due to poor aim or poor stroke?

Alignment and aiming are the most important. Your eyes have to be in line with your stroking arm. If you bridge at the pivot point of your cue, it will cover up a lot of stroke errors.

Along with the usual size and color options for the T-Shirt, they should offer the "Tear Away Perforations" option, so we too, can rip it off while barking.

Are there any top pros using the slip stroke today?

    Coiln: You magnificent monster.

Are there any top pros using the slip stroke today?

The acceleration graph I posted shows I hit the cue ball late. I'm thinking that my stroke hand was a few inches forward of 90° when I addressed the cue ball. I'm often told I need to move my grip hand back a few inches. In other words, I was already into the follow through at the address. I...

Are there any top pros using the slip stroke today?

I posted this video of Wayne Norcross slip stroking at 00:57. In the next shot he slip strokes and stroke slips on the same shot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sb6CKYqTC98#t=54

Are there any top pros using the slip stroke today?

This photo shows my cue was decelerating before impact: It looks like I hit the cue ball about 30msec late. My theory about why (some say) you can get more action with a slip stroke is that it changes your stroke timing. The stick is getting a few inches head start. Bob Jewitt and Dr. Dave...

How quickly can you gauge a player's speed?

Dave: Good eye, bank well, but please, lose that pre-shot routine. Also, people that put the chalk back in their pocket annoy me. You don't use inside enough. It was the expected shot to get on the four ball in the first rack. You used it on the seven in the second rack, ended up on top of...

Daniel, yes, rail first is fun, but he could have gotten there if he hadn't overcut it.

    Inside English misses!

Dave: I watched your throw video when you posted it, thanks very much. I'm sure that was a big investment in time. I don't know what type of wax the TD is using, I doubt it's Aramith. Looks like that would be the thing to use.

    Inside English misses!

Colin: The top left diagram reminds me of a cross section of the Earth, compared to a cross section of Pluto. :) "The outer shell of the Earth is called the mantle, the next layer is the molten magma, surrounding the nuclear core." Is that your data, or can I read about it somewhere? I have...

    Inside English misses!

Colin: You are a monster. A three quarter ball hit and you are so accurate you can change from aiming for center pocket to one side or the other to adjust for the throw. Then you modify that for speed. Not to mention you've set your bridge and now you "just pivot". You are dialed in.

    Inside English misses!

Ak Guy: Find the pivot point of your cue and you will start making shots you should have missed. Shots where you try to hit with no spin, but you accidentally swoop the cue. If I've been away from the table for a few days, it may take three hours of solo practice to get my eye and arm...
