I enjoyed most of the TAR matches- particularly the ones that involved sets up to 25 or multi-disciplinary matches (8 ball, 10 ball, 1 pocket, etc).
The long races could be great too if it got close in the end
I just go by what intuitively feels right regarding open or closed bridging.
I know people can still execute draw shots with an open bridge, but I much prefer a closed bridge for such shots.
Bird is definitely right- current nba players are immensely talented. However, the criticism goes both ways. For example, JJ Redick made some dumb comments about players from the 1960s- saying they were a bunch of untalented plumbers. Guys like Jerry West rightfully disagreed. Greats from any...
it must be that they aren't good enough in pool to really make $ unless they dedicated more time to it. They would likely struggle with the break, safety play, and jump shots
perhaps this has been covered before, but why did the Sands tournament stop happening? I've enjoyed all of the matches from the Sands I've watched on You Tube. I really like the long race to 15 format in the finals.
It would be great to see this tournament revived with similar equipment to see...

At one time he was definitely heavier, but he has slimmed down over the years. He was muscular with low body fat- so he probably was in the range of 170-175 pounds
I’m not into extreme heavy lifting, but I’ve been into weight training for over 30 years and I think it has definitely improved my health and because I’m so used to how my body feels, it hasn’t negatively impacted my pool playing- may even help it. The exception being heavy chest workouts- I...
Just saw on Kaci's Instagram that he broke his left arm and suffered tendon injuries in his left arm during a severe car accident.
He will likely be out of action for months.
I wish him a full and speedy recovery
Don’t know exact stats, but he routinely put big packages of runouts together.
In one of the streams years ago I heard Tony Robles say there was a tournament in the 90s in which Earl didn’t miss a single ball he was shooting at- that’s amazing
