    Practically speaking, the measles ball because it is cheapest. Stylistically, either the black measles ball or the Arcos II ball with the black triangles.

    Does that really surprise you? Go to any pool hall and I would guess that 90% of the individuals there that actually shoot at least decently will be hard pressed to give you details about their cue beyond brand, weight, and maybe tip brand. Unless someone was actually asked and therefore forced...

    Why not just get an EC7 cue? They are 2/3 the price for essentially the same cue as the EC9.

    Mezz Sports Grip problem

    I would ring up Proficient Billiards and see about getting a nice leather wrap on there. I have never seen a "sports grip" last on any tool; every single time the rubber gets all torn up and yucky.
