where do you draw the line at who is a pro and who isn't. Your solution would be very problematic.

Agree. I'm seeing a lot of players coming up short on their shape.

Hunter instructs pool to "feed his family". If he depended on his tournament winnings to do so, then his family is starving. I wonder what his career winnings total is? Not as much as a typical blue-collar working stiff makes would be my guess.

I've always liked Hunter Lombardo and haven't ever cared much for Scott Frost, but this episode was total bull shit. This could open the door for more bull shit calls in the future. No ref present or called to watch a shot? Should be shooter's call. Bad on you Hunter Lombardo. Not a classy move...

I agree. I can hardly watch it. Between all the safety play coupled with no shot clock, even a diehard pool fan like me is gagging at what I'm watching.

And yet, somehow, he has been in the conversation for Mosconi Cup choices. I think after his U.S. Open performances, we probably won't be hearing his name as often. He is currently getting his ass handed to him by Alenzi. Edited to add: Alenzi wins 8-4. Wolford going home.

Neuhausen breaks dry. Jesse plays a bad safety. Neuhausen wins 9-8. I'm done for the day. This crap is truly unwatchable.

Engel jump banks 3-ball but cue ball flies off the table. Hill-hill.

Leyman just entered the scene. Let's hope he don't start butchering stuff up too!!!

Watching Neuhausen butcher safety after safety. Playing slower than hell. It's hard to watch. I wonder if he'd actually play better WITH a shot clock? He seems to be doing a lot of overthinking. Engel on the hill 8-7. Go Jesse!!!

I'm done commentating. Just going to watch from here on out. Stream on YouTube coming in clear.

Libranti does not kick well. He's awfully fast to pull the trigger on a lot of his shots. I've seen APA SL9's play better. I've got a feeling that Shane won't be too happy with his performance when this one is over. He should be smoking this guy.

I backed my video up and saw that Angelo broke from the back rail with the cue ball slightly over the break box line at least one time. That's all I looked back at.

Yes, a break box rule. I haven't noticed where Angelo was/is breaking from, but I did see the referee have a brief discussion with him between racks.

Wolford just missed an easy 9-ball in front of the side pocket. Wolford behind 5-4. Not looking like Mosconi Cup material at the moment.

Golden break for Libranti. Up 4-2.

Wolford looking shaky thus far. Up 3-2 on Angelo Libranti. Missing shape badly. Just now hooked himself on an easy out.

    Cue wrap preference

If I coached a baseball team he played on, he would definitely be my left fielder.

    Cue wrap preference

I'm a wrapless guy myself. Next preference would be stacked leather. I would think that most of your experience is with a snooker cue that you would probably prefer wrapless yourself. I dunno.

Wow...Gene Snow. Hadn't heard that name in more than a few years. I used to follow him and his Dodge Dart funny car "Rambunctious" a lot at our closest strip (Green Valley Raceway) back in the late 60's/early 70's. I have a few pictures I took of his car and an 8"x10" black-and-white souvenir...
