I wasn't saying you have to power through them, it appears to me if you play the ball to the right side of the side pocket you should be able to catch the top half of the top ball in the stack which is a weak spot of the rack from there and should be able to follow through them.

I think on this shot if I'm seeing it correctly I would follow into the top portion of the rack and hope to follow through them knowing that the opposite side of the rack is where my next shots are coming from. One key thing to remember especially in shots like this is how the speed of the shot...
