    Eyes on top of head!

Shooting pool with recording glasses (on top of my head) My stance is a little high so I ended up putting them on top of my head. Otherwise, only my bridge hand and the cue ball would show in the recording. I ran twenty one balls here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=II6zJFYgHKE

    Miserable little run

Come on in, the water's fine. :) I'm using a Casio EXLIM 7.2M snap shot camera, and I found a cheap little tripod at Fry's for $7.99.

    Miserable little run

Thank you, Michael for the encouragement. Another eleven ball run at DannyK's last night before the nine ball tournament: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMGIsZAeoUc&feature=youtu.be Looks a lot better now that I figured out how to adjust the exposure.

    Miserable little run

Sad to say I've been at it a long time. Ran 33 last year, my high run so far. I can usually get a couple of 20's in but not this time.

    Miserable little run

Thanks for your comments, I'll keep trying. Getting old now, I find three to four hours solo practice is about my limit. I made some great shots that day but did something stupid right away, probably not worth showing.

Alex P Moneymatch last week - Top Money Player in PI

Time to get rid of the magic rack. I vote for the "Slug Doctor" rack.

    Miserable little run

Played for three hours last week, best I could do was an eleven ball run: Sorry, I forgot to adjust the brightness setting on the camera. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTVQiaCkRgA

    Pro level pattern/layout challenges

Instead of a perfect rack, why not give everyone a slug rack, so the balls don't spread that well. To test it with a Magic Rack, just enlarge the hole where the one ball goes, then push the one ball away from the two balls behind it.

A level player in the mind... C level in the execution... what to do?

OP: I know just what you are going through. I played three hours the other day, this was the best run I could string together: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTVQiaCkRgA&feature=youtu.be

I forgot to switch to higher resolution. Also, I need to set the camera up higher to try to avoid the glare. I'll try again next time out, but highest resolution on a 2GB memory card only gives me 24 minutes recording time. Maybe I'll stop in at Fry's to see about a bigger memory card.

    Hardtimes pool room

Truman: How much would it cost to upgrade to commercial HVAC? How much to run it during the summer? How far would a $5/person surcharge go towards paying him to run what he has?

    Tip Replacement So Cal

Al Romero at Hard Times has replaced a couple tips for me. I think it was only $10.

    POV glasses for training

My right eye is very dominant, but in the fist part of this clip I try to use both eyes. The last part of the video I give up and put my right eye over the cue with much better results.

I think the banana stroke is real, not sure about the tip placement. Here's another view of my stroke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6quRI3ogqiA&feature=youtu.be

I made a strap out of elastic band from a fabric store. Still no help. Down on the shot, looking over the top of the eyeglass frame, the camera is pointing down. All you can see is my bridge and the cueball at the top of the video frame.

    POV glasses for training

I bought a pair about a year ago. With shipping the total was $106. Brand name is HD Myopia. No good for pool. The camera tilts down when you get down on the ball. I tried wearing them on top of my head like people do with sunglasses, still no good. I will look at some clips and see if...
