I remember Tim fondly I bought my first custom cue from Tim back in 1986.. I ordered it by phone and went to his shop to pick it up. Nothing fancy. No points, etc. Just a basic cue to hit balls in bar leagues. He was a nice guy and spent time with me like I was buying a cue worth $1,000's.
