    Dreaming about Pool

I can honestly say that I don't think that I've ever dreamed about playing pool either. Daydream about it constantly, but I've never dreamt about it that I can remember

    Kids playing pool

Where I play they have a junior league. I can't tell you how envious I am of these kids. Stuff like that wasn't around when I was a kid. Actually I don't think my parents would dream of allowing me to be in a pool hall as a kid. I loved playing pool as a kid. The problem was that it was a rare...

Chandley's, now with more 9' Diamonds

It's definitely a place to play. It almost feels like entering the main floor of the DCC.

    Moori J Tip

It's a little softer, but not spongy. Kind of like making a Sniper a notch softer

    Happy World Elephant Day!!!!

I hope that my next cue has recycled ivory from a cue ball, piano keys or any other source that is recyclable. The alternative is to be torched by the government

Chandley's, now with more 9' Diamonds

One pocket Believe it or not that is the most worn out table in the place. Diamond is recovering it and putting a new top on to bring it down to 4-1/8'. Tighter pockets brings in money games

Which player from the past(or even present) do you wish there was more footage of?

I've got to go with Luther Lassiter. Second place easily goes to Ronnie Allen.

    Why pay to recover table

It's not a simple undertaking. I've watched the guys from Diamond recovering or installing 30+ tables at my home room over the last couple days. They make it look pretty easy.

    Why pay to recover table

I have access to a lot of tools, but machinist levels aren't one of those tools. I'm one of those ppl who prefer to do things myself, but in this case I'll leave it to the pros.

    Moori J Tip

I ordered one the other week, installed myself and have about 9 hours of playing time on it. First off is installation: This tip installed great. It's easy to cut and a dream to shape. This is of course coming from a stalwart user of Sniper tips. Although most know what a nightmare it can be...

Not in my world. Nothing against BB players, but I'll stick with 9s and 10s

Chandley's, now with more 9' Diamonds

All freshly recovered. They took out most of the bar tables, added more 9 footers and tightened the 10 foot Diamonds to 4-1/8" pockets

Been a while since a "Whats in the case thread"

I have some chalk, two Last4ever tip tools, eye drops, two shaft slickers and a pen The cues are a Gilbert, BK3, Davis blank finished by Jon Spitz and a Lomax jumper. The cue extension was made by Tim Monk

Finally found a copy of Rags to Rifleman

From what I've heard it's a very good book. Add to that it being about a legend as well as it not being published for a long time and you have a higher price

Here is the most basic problem with pool today

Oops just saw it was edited two minutes after it was posted. Maybe I did just miss it. Irritation has a way of making ppl blind ;)

Here is the most basic problem with pool today

I think the sarcasm was added later. The post has been edited. When I first read it that wasn't added, or at least I didn't see it. Either way I didn't know if it was serious or not because I've seen that attitude before. They'd come in for free pool, not spend a dime and hit the road as soon...
