I snap up the old wood to wood joint Dufferins whenever I can on eBay. I have 4 of them, the nicest of which has a butterfly splice on the butt and brown phenolic joint collars. I never had one with the aluminum/brass joint. That's a nice tip on yours!

Gonna keep it so I have something to go back to when I 'break up' with the Dufferin!
