Really Nice Cue. :thumbup:

I got some of all sizes. Joint size drilled and bored nicely. (OD hasn't been machined, in the pict ....that's the way it came). Ferrule size drilled and tapped nicely. Yet to finish a cue using the material. Am currently building two cues which will use the material as a testing ground.

No problems turning, cutting, drilling, boring or tapping here either. Suspect chipping issues may be due to using dull tools, or trying to remove too much stock too quickly. Image attached is off the tool, no sanding or finish.

An interesting read, my first thoughts were if it's in any kind of decent tournament, the ref could call it a foul as most sports have a general rule about "Bringing the Game into Disrepute", and if in their opinion (the Refs), the player, being a lazy *****, or a smart ass by shoving their cue...

Interesting, I guess there is no chance those items were in there to absorb any moisture or condensation that might form during transport / storage ?

Lovely Cue, always great to see the Butterfly cues representing !! Are the butterflies high / low (like you often do) or are these ones even. Hard to tell from the picts. Finish and ringwork is spectacular. :thumbup:

Wow, I am amazed you say it's her first try at C8B. I watched her game vs Allison Fisher, and she really only lost out due to a little match play inexperience and a couple of bad position shots towards the end of the racks. Her single ball potting ability looked better than Allison's, and...

Take a bit of time and watch some of the vids on YouTube of kamila khodjaeva. That's a name and face women's pool will be seeing a lot more of in the future. Textbook technique, and amazing potting ability on the Chinese 8 Ball tables.

I hear what the OP is saying. There are days I just wanna pocket balls, and there are people who just wanna bring you down by playing safety. I have a game for this, I call it "No Safe 9 Ball". If you miss or can't continue your run, your opponent gets ball in hand. Problem (mostly) solved...

Cue Man Billiards .... I got my Deluxe from Chris almost 15 years ago. He managed to send it Down Under no problems at all. Highly recommended.

Probably going over old facts, but why the hell would Bud let it go hill hill if he was dumping it. I know the vid looks bad, but why would you risk it getting that close. Just doesn't make sense. I also enjoyed the famous snooker reference. Surely the only reason Davis could miss a shot...

Well, since you ask..... They are not perfect by any means. In the pictures of both cues you have presented, there are many things that are not perfect. Butterfly cues (seem to be) much harder to master / construct than points, and most people don't seem to know what to look for when judging...
