I think as it is getting more unusual to see these days he might have wondered if it was something different or more "special". An end shot of the joint face should show the structure well.

You can see a number of us passed it up. I'm not a cue flipper either, and the cue had nothing for me. That's a higher dollar Mcdermott, just not my gig. I have bought numerous cues and cases from fuzzy pictures.

Looking at it and others. We'll see. I like curious and/or interesting cues.

$270 is good. You put the work in for it. You might get a new zipper sewn in. But how are those straps attached? As I remember they were sewn on. That damage can be repaired if you know how. But paying someone? I know how to repair all that and still wasn't willing to work on buying it.

UPDATE 9-21-2025: I was working on a deal to purchase this cue with others. It turns out the cues may not have been owned by the person I was dealing with. The cues were not theirs to sell. No, not stolen really. I won't get into details as it is someone's personal issue. I will leave...
