    Shaft wax/polish

No MSDS? Oops. I imagined it was an alcohol. Probably a repackaged product as you say. A while back I found a spray on carnauba wax sold for leather wraps that was a repackaged shoe product.

It can't be reconstituted? What's the solvent? I am ignorant and could be way off base.

Things to consider for those forum members buying their first pool cue

A few days ago I saw a Crical on eBay and was curious about the price. So, I hit Google and found the same cue on Amazon for $200 and on Walmart for $125. $125 new? I almost bought it just to see what it's like. Then I happened to see an Overcomer cue on eBay and went to find their web site...

Things to consider for those forum members buying their first pool cue

Although the title addresses members, I think the point is really more for the masses than members. AZB forums are indexed by Google. It's always an interesting discussion, and I think has changed a lot in the last few years because I think many will start out with a CF cue now. I was at...

    For the doc

Very cool! I've seen some round or hex/octa/round wood cases. I wondered why nobody made one like this. Laminated wood tubes are available round, not oval. I've looked. What are you doing with the bottom? Looking forward to more pics!

Yes, it was featured on his site. Sadly his site is gone. I wish I had preserved a lot of those pictures.

The stepped and threaded core with threaded sleeve components was created by Dan Janes. It has been the standard at Joss for many years. It is, IMHO, the best construction technique.

No worries. I am glad to see the gallery active. I have posted several of mine again. That one of yours certainly merits another look. Gotta dig nice wood, and when done right, it can't be ignored. That cue has just the right amount of subtle accent with those rings, it lets the wood speak.

    Strange Brunswick cue?

I'll be interested in the case. :) Surely you don't need it, and it's one of the cheap vinyl versions. :poop: So...really...I would love that case... . . . . . . . Did I mention I like the case?

My Sawdust Custom Cue just arrived!

Wow. I almost grabbed a more traditional design Sawdust for what I thought was cheap. Wish I had. That's some really nice purpleheart.
