Looking for Ebony into BEM Cue

That has veneers so, no, not for this set. BUT, I have been looking at that cue since you posted it. Many times. I really like that cue!

    Does anyone know this logo?

Square table with four pockets and two 8 balls. And He is shooting straight at the cushion. I need to play that game.

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

Most people will prefer the mitered, but we have seen some better makers use butted veneers, We saw an early Richard Black with butted veneers recently. It really is aesthetic I think. I don't think there is any real structural difference in this application. Cue makers may have more to...

    Tad Cue?

    That's the solution for sure.

    Tad Cue?

Same here. But I don't consider that conclusive. I have seen old Tad cues that don't look like Tad, not fancy like this though. And we have all seen cases where an old cue didn't look like a certain maker and people said it definitely was not, but turned out to be their work verified by the...

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

Yes. There are more than enough varieties of ebony to make that very true. Much of what we think we see in pictures could be different in person. All we can do it toss our impressions out there.

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

Good pic of the wood. And that darn logo! LOL! Could be just the brand, or could be the maker.

    They made more than that.

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

I thought so too. But it has a grain that is not ebony when I pull it up on the high resolution monitor.

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

It very well could be Adam. But I haven't found it. I also know I don't have all the Rich catalogs and fliers. I have post cards for Rich back to the 1960s and catalogs up to the early 80s I think. But I know I don't have them all. Cue makers like Rich used Adam splices in the 70's, then...

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

It can be very difficult to differentiate some Adam cues from the better Kao cues. But look at that squared off brass pilot. That pilot is much more like a Kao cue. But, I am unfamiliar with pointed pin Kao cues. Could be Adam. Could be Rich. Could be Rich made by Adam.

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

I have more than just Adam cue catalog files. I have hundreds of pictures in my files (thousands actually). And I have more than just Adam cues with pointed pins, both in my picture files and in my collection. 1960's Mali cues had pointed pins for example. I originally felt there was a...

    Kao Kao cue? Adam made?

Yeah the pointed pin says Adam. But the rest of it? I can't find the cue in my Adam files. When Jayman says Adam I have to defer. What model?
