Tim Scruggs for sale on Ebay

I know Tim had a heart condition recently, but I don't know what his timeframe is, nor do I know what he would charge. Here's a link to his website. Mike Cochran recently passed away (RIP, Mike), so I don't know what Tim's waiting list looks like. http://www.timscruggs.com/

Tim Scruggs for sale on Ebay

Based on his past and current transactions, it looks like he is a pawn broker with not much of an idea. Safe to assume the cue looks solid. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with the original shaft, but he looks legit.

FS: Bob Frey cue. 4 pointer, but not quite a sneaky pete.

Didn't think I'd give up this cue so soon, but I have my eye on a few cues, so this one has to go. Up for grabs is a Bob Frey players cue. It's one level up from a sneaky pete. Standard 58' cue with 4 rosewood (correct me if I'm wrong) points, Irish linen wrap, one shaft. Here are the details...

    Helmstetter Buyers Beware!

Lol! He's using "search words," so if someone reads too fast and bids some astronomical bid to break the reserve, then all is good. He uses the words "Herman Rambow" and "Brunswick hub-type cue" in his description. So even he doesn't know (but we think he does).

Best hitting cue for $1200 buck?

I agree with certain opinions here. "Hit" and "feel" are quite subjective. I played with a Mike Bender that hit great, but didn't feel right. On the other hand, I played a $1200 Jerry R. cue that hit amazing. I prefer a fairly stiff hit, so my shafts can't be a Meucci. I prefer as close to 13mm...
