I can't hit the ball exactly center? Any drills?

Get yourself an index card. Fold it in half. Measure from the folded edge 1 3/16 inch in and draw a line. Cut from the folded edge up to the 1 3/16 line around 1/2 an inch from the edge of the card. Cut away the excess. What you end up with when you unfold it is a U that has the bottom that is...

    My New Wheat Cue...

Willee I am still waiting on that cue from you. What has it been 6 or 7 years??? Don't remember do you? I was SSCS in a previous life and I was the one that asked for the saturn ring cue when you were making free ones, when you started out, as long as we bought the wood. And I have been...

    Joe Rogan in Boston!

I would imagine that he would be down to earth to meet him in person. One of my favorite lines he said on news radio was "Did you know that there is one switch that turns off everything in the building? Did you also know that I am the only one that knows where it is?" I realize that he didn't...

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

My problem Jal is I will only argue a point so far and if I cannot explain myself clearly I give up. I understand what you are saying but you are not considering how I am trying to explain my side. So I really am at this point right now. Sorry.

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

It really doesn't matter how it is seen. I understand your reasoning and you understand mine. And really if the cueball was moving all over the table on one shot then there would be a reason to argue the point more. But in reality either way it puts the ball in the pocket and that is all that...

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

I only used the GB as a reference for this example. As you get closer your clock face changes but then so does the V as long as you stay on the blue line the path that the OB takes is still the same. Very simple.

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

LOL!!!! ARRRRRGH Ok look at your drawing on post #54. Do you see the blue line between the CB and the Ghost ball Centers? Are you saying that if I put the cueball anywhere on that blue line that the object ball is not going to go at a 45 degree angle? If not then I need to go figure out how to...

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

Wow this is like thinking how big the universe is... And just as frustrating... Let me try another way and see if you disagree still. Do you agree that; CB Center to Left OB edge will send the object ball on a path of 1 o'clock? If you agree to the above statement then if I place the CB 1 inch...

    Thank you... The book project.

I also wanted to add that for those that help please pm me and you will get a free ebook of it when I get it finished. Thanks again.

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

Let me try to explain this the best I can so as to eliminate the problem with different angles... 1) look at the top of the object ball and picture a clock face to determine which "hour" you want to send the object ball to. This would be based on lining the centers of the OB and the CB and 6...

    Thank you... The book project.

I have made more on my google advertising in the last 2 days than I have in the last 2 months... As promised I will finish the book that I have been writing for the last year and a half. It will not only contain the clock aiming but will rebuild your game from the ground up. Please if you...

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

Jal, the basis of how the cueball lines up with the object ball so that the V is formed is a straight line. Whether you are 1 inch away or 100 inches away. You are looking down the path of the cueball. I may be wrong but I am assuming that you are thinking that you line up the cueball and the...

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

Looks like everyone was headed in the right direction and someone even mentions that there might be a corolation between the green point (the V) and trajectory but then it looks like it was dropped because they were talking about fractional aiming and being able to see where the aim was.

Johnny V aiming system... The Clock

If you line up 2 spheres with the v intersection @ 11 o'clock it does not matter how far away the centers are. As long as your dominant eye is in line with the v you are looking @ a 2 dimensional representation of the shot. If what you are saying is true then if I am shooting the 11 o'clock...

Maybe a book is in order. I have a couple of others that I am working on. So who would be interested in a book from someone that is not a professional but thinks about pool all the time? BTW if you would like to fund such a project please visit my website and click on the ads on the google...
