Joe Rogan is in town doing a gig somewhere in Boston. He's from the Boston area (Newton, MA) IIRC.

He was on the morning show of WAAF (Boston's alternative rock station and one of the top 4 or 5 stations in the country). They were talking sports (as well as the legality of medical marijuana in California), and Joe said that he didn't follow any sports other than fighting... and PROFESSIONAL POOL!!!!

You're my hero, Joe.

Joe and Tony Annigoni are friends (from what Tony saz).
Whenever TAR does its thing, Joe is often seen in the chat room, watching the PPV, and sometimes calls up JCIN or BigNasty while they're producing their thing.

He called several times during the Derby City Classic as well. Hopefully, he puts it in his schedule this year.

And of course, he's a member here at AZBilliards.

I would imagine that he would be down to earth to meet him in person. One of my favorite lines he said on news radio was "Did you know that there is one switch that turns off everything in the building? Did you also know that I am the only one that knows where it is?" I realize that he didn't write it but he delivered it well in his dead pan. Not a fan of his standup, tho. (sorry Joe if you read this) Just not my type of comedy.

Joe is the triple nuts.

You should get your hetero life-mate Jimbo and go to the show Fred.

<-----thinks we need Rogan in JimboChat

That would be all kind of balls...

I recently watched some You Tube clips of Joe when he got into "on the air" beefs with people, like Bill Maher and others. You can see the "pool player" in him, the way he keeps his cool no matter what. I have to admire the way he handles himself, never getting off balance or losing it. He is one of the few people I ever saw get the best of it with Maher.

And when some dude got out of line on his show (Fear Factor), Joe put him in his place, and never backed down when he threatened Joe. Joe is one bad ass!

I just don't think he'll ever be a Shortstop unless he gives up this life of fame and fortune. :D
Joe, I advise you to listen to Jim Croce and "Get a job playing pool".
