What is the best way to get the table onto the slides?

I have an Olhausen Eclipse pool table.....8 footer. My question is this....is it possible to move the table on "slides" without disassembling it. We are putting new carpet down and the carpet installer told me that they move them "all the time" using furniture slides. But, he isn't a pool...

I will be traveling to the Baltimore/Annapolis area from September 1, 2 and 3. Looking for any weekly tournaments and/or pool rooms in the area. Any help is appreciated. :smile:

Why even play if you want to give someone a chance to get even. The idea behind gambling is to win....plain and simple. That isnt even debatable. Same with poker....you sit at the table to win. If you sit down and have a good run of cards for a half hour and you want to walk away, then walk...

Are there any weekly tournaments on Fridays in the Baltimore or Frederick area? I will be in town this coming Friday evening and was hoping to find a tournament. Small table or big table.....it doesn't matter. Thanks.

This event was very, very well run. Everything went smooth from start to finish. The only suggestion I would make is to change nothing.:smile:

I think my buddy and I are going to come down for the tournament this Saturday. My son is 15 years old. Is he able to get in? I wasn't sure if they had rules surrounding underage kids being in the establishment. Thanks.

How many players showed up to your last event? Do you have the results from your last event? Is all of the money paid back or are there greens fees taken out of the entry fees? Hate to ask so many questions, but just wanted to get some details before driving two hours.

They flyer clearly stated that it was open to any league players. As far as the master issue on the teams, I can't comment because I was only a spectator on the team event. The negatives were that it finished way to late. People have jobs, families, classes, kids, etc and having it run so...

How many entries do you have so far for the 8 ball and 9 ball divisions?
