Who knows The American Cueist magazine?

I have probably the largest billiard magazine collection in the world. I was getting bulk issues for many years. Mostly Pool and Billiard and Billiard Digest. I wrote many articles for the Texas Billiard News and the American Cueist. But before getting your hopes up, most are boxed up in a...

How to deal effectively with the Knocker

What the knocker has not realized in his quest to impart knowledge, is that action creates more action......good game, bad game....let the slaughter or match ups take place. Steering someone off of a game....means there will be no game....get the money flowing and all sorts of things start to...

    Recommendations for House Cue Tips?

I maintain about 80 cues at the pool hall with my pro shop and about 5 of the local bars around town. Tweeten seems to have changed the process on the Le Pro tips and it is my go to tip for house cues. I used the 13.5mm for well sanded and smaller shafts, and the 14mm for newer house cues. I...

    Conrad Burkman has passed away

nbn Conrad was a great friend and supporter of all things pool. When we cranked up the McDermott Tour, he gave us tons of coverage when the color mags just gave us passing mention even though many full page ad $$$$'s had been spent. While I subscribed to all billiard print media at the time...
