Just a guess here but from the photos it looks to me like the points are curly maple not bird's eye maple but I could be wrong about that. Either way it's a pretty cue.

As the title says I am looking for a 30" Mezz WD700 or WX700 shaft 3/8X10 is preferred but will consider other joint styles.

The Mezz USA website has the WD700 shaft The Mezz Japanese website has the WX700 shaft Does anyone know what the difference is between these two shafts are?
