Finnegan is a crook and a scumbag.

Most Break pots have rules against first time players in the tournament but normally that allow you to buy tickets (they want the B&R pot to grow) however an eligible player must present the winning ticket. What's to keep a new guy from staking and eligible player in the B&R pot? Even if they...

Finnegan is a crook and a scumbag.

Typically how I have seen B&R pots done is what ever you make on the break does not count. You get paid on every legally pocketed ball after the break, this way you can win up to 9/10 of the prize fund and can never completely bust the pot. A. 10 ball + $1,800 in pot = $180 per ball (most you...

My Brand New Davis Prince Fullsplice

It's a beautiful cue but I did notice something Compare the Veneers in the second photo to the Veneers in the forth photo. Second photo the Veneers seem to come to a point like normal Veneers. Forth photo the Veneers looked as if the left veneer is taller than the veneer on the right side...

Do Most "B" and up Players Need Drills?

I'd bet my life that top Golf & Tennis players practice drills on any number of specific shots they need in the bag so to speak. Yes they get paid A LOT of money but regardless of the cash proper training what's needed to be the best at their sport. He in America there is not enough cash in...

    Cue Prefence

I LOVE looking at fancy cues but I would rather play a Merry Widow or maybe a 4 point, 4 veneer hoppe cue (no Inlays) I like the classics Here is my current playing cue (Eddie Cohen wrapless Merry Widow) Even though the cue was not finished yet in the photo on the bottom right it...

Does anyone think Frost is favourite over Alex in the upcoming 1p $50000 match?

Yeah that's why it took 10 games for Alex to win the cheese in their last 8 ahead set. 10-1 Alex for $20K Meanwhile I believe this match is really $25K not $50K, I could be wrong ;) The only thing $50K about this match is when they both post their $25K.

    Darren Forfeits Beloit

IMHO this is comparing Apples to Oranges There is a MONSTER difference between loosing a match and a forfeit. If someone gets out played or plays bad and looses it sucks but no big deal we all have are good and bad days. If someone gets sick, goes to the hospital, gets in a car wreck, etc...

Players like to play both side if this fence. They don't come out of pocket to buy half themselves in a Calcutta, just in case they don't place but they are more then willing/expect a nice size toke when the Calcutta money is paid out

Was Elvis known to be a decent pool/billiards player?

I am not sure about the others but you should take Loretta Lynn off your list. Loretta Lynn was a great song writer. http://www.biography.com/people/loretta-lynn-9389831#coal-miners-daughter A commercial and critical smash hit, Van Lear Rose injected new life into Lynn's career. "Jack was a...

Are OB Cues & Shafts Taking Over The World?

That would be awesome. OB could have a new line of cues calling them the "Traditional Line" 1. 4 point, 4 veneer (titleist colors), Hoppie ring, white Irish linen w/green specs. 2. Bushka style cue 3. Palmer style etc......................... IMHO if OB did that it would be their most popular...

Pool Table Question (which is worth more money?)

From the two photos I saw the GC1 looks like a brand new table. One thing that is striking about the GC1 is that the table is "White" Extended rails with "Diamond Cut" pockets (what ever that means...lol) Tighten down to just under 4" I'm told (Yikes)
