Gilbert's Custom Cues are among the best out there.

I have a few of Andy Gilbert's custom cues. Are they among the best custom cues out there? They certainly play well and very fine custom engraving.

Pool Hall in Vallejo, California. My Dad's cousin used to one it

His name was Lawrence Whitaker and owned a pool hall in Vallejo, Calif. I was in the Navy there and used to play pool in his pool hall in 1965.

Pool Hall in Vallejo, California. My Dad's cousin used to one it

I'm wondering if anyone remembers the pool room in Vallejo, California. I was in the Navy in electronics school there and used to go there almost every night and play 9 ball for $$. Come to find out, my Dad's cousin owned it!! Amazing to me. I had only played snooker as a kid in NM and pool...

What was the name of the Italian Leather Company (gone now) that made fine leather wraps?

I've understood about 10-12 years ago, that the building burned down and the company is no longer in business. I also understand that the leather wrap was exceptional and nothing new comes close. I hope to know the companies' name. I have some cues that have their leather wrap. Thanks.

How About this: Let's all tell pool players to NOT buy the factory made cues. SO many custom cues are out there.

It's true I do own a Revo shaft, but I play with Ned Morris' Evolution C/F shaft 90% of the time. All I wanted to do was introduce Ned on AZB. I'm sure 90% didn't know about him. BUT he's busy for months.

Please delete the post I made in the Main Forum; "you're missing the boat....." I spoke about dissing Predator and should not have done that. Thanks so much.

You are all missing the boat!! Ned Morris cues are the best playing cues I've (and my buddies) played with!

You've got it. Why not buy his cues or any other custom made cues over Predator's? Please answer that.

I'm wondering how many SW cues are so valuable? I've bought three more with Ivory. He can not make them today. WHY are you SO interested? I have a limited $$$ account.

Two!! and I disagree. Guess we could buy Predators or a custom cue maker for the same price.

How About this: Let's all tell pool players to NOT buy the factory made cues. SO many custom cues are out there.

Let's all stop buying the Predators, Mecci's, and etc. and start buying the custom cue makers cues at about the same price. WHY would we buy a Predator made from a CNC China factory when we could buy an American JC, Ned Morris, and many others cues for about the same price? Let's make it...
