I just picked up a Barnhart PJ cue from mikes94cobra....and holy balls, does this cue play!!!! Shipping was fast as hell, and Mike was 100% accurate on the advertisement. I'm completely happy with the cue, and my dealings with Michael. Thanks, boss!!! This cue plays awesome.

There is NO reason you should still have that PJ in your collection. It belongs here....with me....where it would be happy, healthy, well fed, and fondled in ways you can't begin to imagine. I love everything about that particular cue. The others ain't bad either, I guess.... ;)

Exactly. I had one...years ago...that I picked up from a guy here on AZB. Prior to getting it in my hands, it was in Scot's shop for a refurb. The cue was pristine in every way...and it cost $150, start to finish. Perfect work that's budget-friendly. Can't argue with that!! :thumbup:

All I can tell ya is that I've sent quite a few cues to Scot to have work done...and each time...the cue was flawless when I got it back. Older BB cues are awesome. I've owned several, and they play amazingly well. That said, I don't think (but what the hell do I know, really?? ) that they...

In my humble, owned-far-too-many-cues-in-my-lifetime opinion: If you're looking to have a HIGH END cue redone, go to the original cuemaker. Newer BB, Tasc, Szam, Searing, etc. If you're looking to get a player or midrange cue done...and plan on USING it...go with a reputable person that does...
