I have G2 mediums on a couple of my favorite cues. Easy install and after 2 months no maintenance has been needed. I'll be ordering more G2 tips for sure!

I installed a Taom tip on an old original X Breaker shaft. On my second break with the new Taom, it exploded and the ferrule cracked. So my question is---what ferrule material do you recommend and should I use threaded, unthreaded, capped or uncapped on the replacement ferrule? Thanks!
