    DCC match results?

Easiest way is to word search for "one pocket." It takes you to the current round with almost no effort. Or hit <ctrl>+<end> and scroll up. Or download and sort the excel (which is what I do to see who has buy back left and who is out of tourney. Looks like around 30-ish have a buyback. -td

    DCC match results?

The accu-stats stream has the matches saved. Filler/SVB was great. Final match was also great. Had me sweating! No spoilers from me, but I suspect your social feed told you who won! -td

Pool is becoming a rich man's sport

There are definitely rich people that play pool, but not everyone that plays pool is rich. I've been to lots of tournaments all over the place and the vast majority of players and spectators are just regular old working class people, not rich socialites. There's no real barrier to entry based...

Dr V's Custom Magnetic Chalk Holder Review

I purchased one of the Dr. V holders and they are engineered and made well, and the magnetic elements are probably the strongest on the market. I would recommend that holder for certain audiences for sure. This is coming from someone that makes and sells [what I think] is a better chalk holder...

    Side Pocket Blockers

Thoughts on how you would account for the pocket facings and cloth fold? Maybe you can't avoid those portions and would just have 95% of the long rail available. -td

Cynergy 10.5 also good for Pool-Billard?

I have the 12.5, 11.8 and 10.5. I primarily use the 11.8 because the 12.5 has a bit more deflection and the 10.5 is too conical. IMO the deflection between 11.8 and 10.5 is very close to the same, so I gravitate to the one that is easier to use. Given the diameter of a pool ball, I don't...

what's your 9 ball B@R % on your practice table?

Those are Dynasphere Tungsten. Great balls for under 100 bucks!

what's your 9 ball B@R % on your practice table?

Depends on a lot of things. You playing ghost or standard pro rules 9-ball? What size table? Template rack, 1 on the spot, no break box? Standard rules, running a 3 pack is a good day for me. And running 10-20% is also a good session. Playing the ghost, my last great session was 11-1...

SJM at the 2023 International Open

Thanks, again, Stu. I hope this thread gets back on track as your reviews are always enjoyable to read. [Personally, I did not see a need for the negative comment, especially the way it was recounted. There is a time and place for things, and your thread was not a good dumping ground. And...

SJM at the 2023 International Open

Stu - Although my wife is not a pool fan, she's seen me watch so many streams that she can pick you out easier than most of the players! Thanks for the update! The Gerson shot was really exciting as we some of the spectacular jump shots! -td

    3D Printed stimpmeter

I really like the idea of a pool stimpmeter, but every time I get around to building one, I can't figure out what I'd do with the info/data. Like, even if I knew my table was playing at X today, but at Y tomorrow [or even two tables playing at A and B], how would I use that knowledge. I always...

Any Reason Not to Use a Brush or a Vac With a Brush Attachment on Cloth?

Other than speculation, I would be interested to hear why a brush might impact the cloth at a meaningful level. Personally, for at least the last 5 years, I have used a roomba on my table and there are no issues. It has a rotating brush. -td

    Any thoughts about Pool Clubs?

There's Red Door in Montreal. A couple tables there. [not to be confused with Red Door Den] One is opening in NY as well. Both private clubs, private entry, membership required, no bar, no servers. [edit: I don't think they advertise and I haven't seen marketing or internet info on them...
