I'm glad you enjoy the videos and thank you for the nice compliments. I am flattered to be mentioned in the same sentence as those players but to be realistic I play on the same table every day with perfect conditions and no pressure. Those great players did it day in and day out under all...
Never seen Ashley play but have seen Melinda, she plays very well and keeps getting better and better. She has only been playing straight pool for a short time and already has a high run of 29.
Congrats to both of you.

A lot of the songs from the 60's that I listen to were the on the radio when my dad introduced me to pool. Brings back those memories and relaxes me I guess. Maybe you have to be from my generation. Funny thing is Schmidty loves the music and he is 20 years younger than me. John wont watch my...
Kind of a weird run. I started knocking balls around while my daughter and her friend were in the room doing stuff on the computer. Lots of talking going on, by the time they left I was on 50 something. If you watch the video you will see just how close I was to my second 100 in a week. Oh...
I'm kinda confused on your picture numbering. For now I will comment on pic 4. I bumped that ball on purpose to try to get it in key ball position for the other stripe ball that I was going to break with. I had no intention of using either of the balls you mentioned as a break ball. John...
You had a great run going. When you got yourself out of trouble at the beginning of the last two racks I thought you were on your way to a 100. Don't beat yourself up over it, as good as you play you will have another 100 very soon. Good job.

14.1 is not meant to be played on 4.25 inch pockets. Last years 14.1 World Championships were played on standard Gold Crown IV's with new cloth. More high runs than the year before when Diamonds were used.
Still only 1 run of 150, about 7 or so over 100.
So if a high run in 14.1 is important...
Steve,
I can't express in words what a comment like this means to me, especially coming from a player of your stature. So I will just say thank you my friend.
Bill
Can you believe it was exactly 100. I didn't know it until I watched the video. I missed a ball that Ray Charles could of made at 101. lol
I just finished and its after 1 AM so it hasn't been uploaded yet. I think John and I will do a player review and it will be on his 294 DVD.
I watched...
The high run on a Diamond is 294 by John Schmidt. Video with commentary will be out in about 2 months.
I would think a 75 ball run on a Diamond is similar to a 100 ball run on a typical Gold Crown.
